All Part Of The Friendly Service...

Today is Veterans Day. I have seen a lot of exceptional men and women in service to their country over the years. Army, Navy Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard. Active Duty, Reserve, Guard.

Our nation and way of life are protected by volunteers who swear to lay down their lives for their protection. Those people represent less than 2% of the population.

If you see a veteran today, please do one of two things:

  1. Thank them for their service
  2. Thank them for their service
I know I enjoy living in a free society, so I'm taking this opportunity to say thanks myself.

Thank you, Honored Veterans.

Thank you and Chica and Alynn.

Thanks to your brothers Eric and Jim my brothers and Denis and Terry, my brothers-in law Harry and Dennis.

Thank you also to my grandsons, Patrick and Seth, my dads,
Grandfather Charlie and Grandpa Frank and Uncle John, or my Cousin Trish .

I'll not forget Uncle Paul and Uncle (Father) Charles Noel, Grandad Hoye or Grampa Ducharme .

Nor will I forget all the other sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, fathers and mothers who have and are serving.

God blesses America through the men and women who stand to serve.

I thank you too, Deth, and Chica and your brothers and my brothers(in-law and otherwise)and the dads and uncles and those I know and those I don't know. And thank you Alynn, a new friend.
I guess we tend to lapse sometimes, and start taking the things you folks protect with your lives for granted. I'm just glad we were smart enough to set a day aside each year to remind ourselves. Thank you all, and God bless you.
